Defending champions North Korea continued their dominant start to the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco with another big win this time, a 6-1 thumping over Poland in Group B on Tuesday.
The Koreans went into the game on the back of a 6-0 thrashing of debutants Puerto Rico on Matchday 1.
On their part, Poland got their campaign off to a perfect after beating Nigeria’s Flamingos 2-1 in their opener thanks to goals from Wiktoria Skrzypczak and Natalia Skrok.
However, the Asian giants showed their class once again to secure back-to-back wins and extend their unbeaten run in the competition to 18 games — a streak that dates back to 2018.

The result puts North Korea top of Group B with six points from two games, having scored 12 goals conceding just one and firmly on course for a third successive U-17 Women’s World Cup title.
Poland, meanwhile, remain on three points and will need a result in their final group game to secure qualification to the knockout stage.
The group’s other game will see the Flamingos take on Puerto Rico later on Tuesday.
