2026 WCQ: Super Eagles’ Inability To Beat Lesotho, Zimbabwe May Haunt The Team –Esin

Former Nigerian international, Etim Esin has revealed that the Super Eagles inability to beat Lesotho and Zimbabwe may later haunt the team in their quest to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

Recall that Nigeria have managed just two points from possible six points after drawing Lesotho and Zimbabwe respectively.

Esin in a chat with Completesports.com, stated that the Super Eagles started the World Cup qualifying campaign on a slow start.

“The Super Eagles started on a very wrong note by drawing Lesotho and Zimbabwe 1-1 respectively. Everything is kust upside down rightly with our football.

“On paper, this is just six points for Nigeria but the team has failed to capitalise on the two games. Imagine football that gives Nigerians joy, is no longer the same again.”

The Super Eagles have now amassed two points from two games.

Jose Peseiro’s side will host the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in their next game in the qualifiers, in June 2024.

I WILL LIKE TO USE THIS MEDIUM TO PERSUADE PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU TO ALLOW THE IMPORTATION OF ELECTRONIC CALCULATOR INTO NIGERIA AT THE CHEAPER PRICE FOR EACH SUPER EAGLE FANS TO AFFORD TO BUY ONE IN OTHER TO BEGIN TO DO PERMUTATIONS HOW SUPER EAGLE WILL QUALIFY FOR WORLD CUP.

ANYTHING THAT WILL MAKE SOUTH AFRICA WIN OR PLAY DRAW AGAINST RWANDA TODAY, THEN WHOLE NIGERIANS SHOULD STOP DREAMING OF SUPER EAGLE QUALIFIER FOR NEXT WORLD CUP.

      True talk!
In fact even if they lose, Nigeria can still not overtake them to qualify with this coach still incharge. Because l don’t see the team beating any of these teams in our group home and away to getting the maximum point.

WHETHER RWANDA LOSE OR S/AFRICA WIN, WHY NIGERIA DIDN’T FACE THEIR OWN BUSINESS.
WHY ARE RELY ON OTHER COUNTRIES TO WIN OR LOSE BEFORE THEY CAN DETERMINE THEIR FATE TO QUALIFY.
*** IF NIGERIA LIKE, LET THEM PRAY LIKE PEOPLE OF SAUDI ARABIA, WITH PASEIRO IN CHARGE, THEY ARE GOING NOWHERE.
LAST TERM WE USE OUR TO VOTE FOR WRONG LEADERSHIP, WE SUFFER FOR 8-YEAR.
NFF USE HAND THEIR HAND TO EMPLOY A WRONG COACH, THE CONSEQUENCE IS FAILURE (without miracle)
