Former Kwara United coach, Samson Unuanel says he’s confident the Super Eagles will triumph over Lesotho in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Recall that Nigeria will face Lesotho on Thursday November 16, 2023 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
In a chat with Completesports.com, Unuanel stated that the Super Eagles will pick the maximum points against Lesotho.

He also urged the technical crew to field players capable of executing the game.
“This is one game the Super Eagles will be hoping to approach with a winning mentality because it’s the opening game.
“Again, I am very optimistic Nigeria will triumph over Lesotho considering the calibre of players at our disposal.
“Missing out from the 2022 World Cup still hurt a lot of the players and they will want to rewrite history book.”
According to CAF, winners of each Group will automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The four best runners-up (from the Groups) will play in a CAF Play-Off tournament.
The winner of the CAF Play-Off Tournament will play in the FIFA Play-off Tournament to potentially be the 10th African nation.
