The Warriors of Zimbabwe technical team has announced a 28-man provisional squad, ahead of their Group C 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria’s Super Eagles this month, completesports.com reports.
The provisional squad was unveiled on the Zimbabwe Football Association’s X handle on Wednesday.
Among the players are Udinese defender Jordan Zemura, Marley Tavaziva of Brentford, Leicester City’s Tawanda Maswanhise and Isaac Mabaya of Liverpool.
Also, Marvellous Nakamba of Luton Town, Tinotenda Kadewere of Lyon and Andy Rinomhota of Cardiff City made the cut.

The Warriors will open their 2026 World Cup qualifiers on November 15, 2023 with a trip to Rwanda.
Then on November, 19, they will remain in Rwanda to face the Super Eagles in their second Group C game.
Zimbabwe was disqualified from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The last time Zimbabwe and the Eagles clashed was in an international friendly game in Asaba, Delta State in 2019 which ended goalless.
