The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has hailed Moses Usor for his superb goal against Madagascar.
Usor made his Super Eagles debut in Friday’s matchday 1, Group L 2027 AFCON qualifier in Uyo.
After coming on for Samuel Chukwueze in the 61st, Usor then got on the score sheet to put the Super Eagles 2-1 on 65 minutes.
The winger received the ball in his own half, ran to the left wing and beat two markers inside the box before hitting a low left foot strike.
Reacting to the wonder strike, CAF wrote on X:”A one-man show from Moses Usor, finished in style on Nigeria’s road through the #TotalEnergiesAFCON2027 qualifiers. 🇳🇬⚡️”
Usor would hope to replicate his impressive performance when the Super Eagles face Guinea-Bissau on matchday 2 on Tuesday, September 29.
Also on target on his debut was George Ilenikhena, who netted one minute of first half added time equalise for the Eagles.
