Comoros have booked a date with African champions Nigeria after thrashing Sudan 30-0 on aggregate in the first round of the qualifiers for the women’s football event at the 2028 Olympic Games, reports Completesports.com.
The Coelacanths were ruthless over the two legs, recording a 17-0 victory in the first leg before sealing qualification with a 13-0 win in the return fixture.
Super Falcons Have Edge Over Comoros
Despite their dominant display against Sudan, Comoros face a much tougher challenge against the Super Falcons, Africa’s most successful women’s national team.
Nigeria will be overwhelming favourites to progress to the next round of the qualifiers.

African Champions In Top Form
Justine Madugu’s side head into the tie in impressive form, having defeated Senegal 3-0 in a friendly match at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, on Monday night.
The Super Falcons also secured a 2-1 victory over the Teranga Lionesses in the first friendly between both teams last week.
They will also defend their title at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco next month.
The second-round qualifiers are scheduled to take place between October 5 and October 13, 2026.
Africa will have two representatives in the women’s football tournament at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, United States.

How are they able to beat Sudan 30 – 0??? Were they playing against kids or the minus-5 team? Was Sudan that bad??? Or Comoros that good???
Never heard that sort of scoreline in football before.
