Enyimba head coach Usman Abd’Allah has expressed disappointment with the performance of his team in their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday -19 fixture against Wikki Tourists on Sunday in Aba, Completesports.com reports.
The Peoples Elephant were held to a 1-1 draw by the visitors who put up a spirited performance in the game.
Abdulrahmam Bashir converted from the spot in the 13th minute to hand Enyimba the lead.
Wikki Tourists got their equaliser through Promise Damala on the hour mark.
“This is the match I am very, very disappointed with. It is not with the result, but the the attitude. There was no tactical discipline,” Abd’llah stated during his interaction with the media after the game.
“When it comes to teams like that, we keep taking everything for granted. We underrated the boys [Wikki Tourists]. It’s not the first time, it’s been happening with this team.
“The match was in our hands but we just threw it away. It’s just unfortunate, but all the same, we are still hanging around.”
Enyimba dropped to third position in the NPFL Group A table following the draw.
The Aba club will face Remo Stars in their next league game on Sunday atbtye at the Gateway International Stadium, Shagamu.
