Abraham’s First Priority Is Chelsea

Tammy Abraham has insisted his target is to try and become a first-team regular for Chelsea rather than move on to pastures new. The striker impressed out on loan at Aston Villa last season, helping them to secure promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs.

Abraham’s 25 goals for Villa means he’s in demand this summer, with the Midlanders believed to be keen on re-signing him, while several other top-flight clubs are also preparing offers. However, the 21-year-old has said his priority is to try and force his way into the Blues’ first team.

He told Sky Sports: “You can never say never. Chelsea is obviously the club that I have been at since a young, so the aim is to try and breakthrough there. “Like I say, you can never say never. We’ll see how things look.”
