ABS FC Set To Unveil New Technical Adviser, Abubakar

ABS FC of Ilorin will unveil their new Technical adviser, Hassan Abubakar today (Saturday) the club has announced reports Completesports.com.

Abubakar replaces Henry Makinwa at the helms.

“We are set to unveil former head coach of the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria Hassan Abubakar as our new Technical adviser,” a tweet from the official handle of ABS revealed.

Abubakar, a former Technical Adviser of Olympic FC of Niamey, Niger Republic is expected to resume on Monday at the club.

The Saraki Boys are competing in the 2019/20 Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) season after they were relegated from the Nigerian Professional Football League two seasons ago.

Meanwhile, the management of Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) are currently inspecting stadium facilities across the nation in a bid to ensure smooth season.

The exercise began on the 5th of February and will end on the 14th.

According to the Chief Operating officer, Lawrence Katken, this move is to enable the second tier league prepares its facilities and services compliance officers for inspection.

“We need to know the conditions, suitability and or otherwise of the stadium arena where they will prosecute their home games and in time too,” he said.

Completesports.com also gathered that the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (NNL) annual General Meeting and draw to usher in the new season has been slated for Thursday 21 February, 2019.

Forty teams (40), twenty each from the Northern and Southern region are expected to feature in the league.
