Benfica is keen on a permanent deal and can offer UEFA Europa League football if a valuation around £15M is met.
Recall that Benfica boss Marco Silva previously worked with Tosin at Fulham and hopes to reunite with him.
Under Alonso, Chelsea are looking to trim down to four or five central defenders from an initial nine, with players like Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile also made available.
Adarabioyo has provided a composed and reliable squad presence for Chelsea since joining on a free transfer from Fulham in July 2024.
