“The good thing is that it is not a serious injury. He did the test yesterday and it was not something serious.”

Aribo and Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho are in line to replace him in the starting line-up against Jean- Louis Gasset’s side.

They call it the fresher’s bug. Trying too hard to impress in the month before his first pay cheque.

On that dry pitch, in such humid playing conditions, it was only a matter of time before something gives way. He’ld be lucky if Nigeria is still in this tournament by the time he is fit to play again

    Hard luck Yusuf.

@Selfmade hope you are doing great. Hopefully both Nigeria and Ghana will progress to the next round. We aren’t happy when our teams are not leaving upto expectations but we will continue to support them in both good and difficult times that is what it means to be a true fan.

  • invite abdulrazak ishaq to this team. he is the most all round player every team needs. he can play in any role in midfield, as a winger, wing-back etc he has great pace and excellent range of passing. he just hasnt been discovered by a prominent club yet. he is just like yusuf, a diamond in the rough. check his highlights.
