AFCON 2021: Eagles Must Watch Out For Sudan’s Physical Play –Modise

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder, Teko Modise has advised the Super Eagles to be physically prepared for the bustling play of the Sudanese team in today’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Group D game.

Nigeria, three-time AFCON winners, had gotten off to a good start in the tournament following a 1-0 victory over record-holders Egypt in their first tie a few days back.

Three points against the Falcons of Jediane at the Estadio Roumde Adjia, Garoua, will see the 2013 champions book a spot in the round of 16.

However, Modise. who was a pundit on SuperSport for the AFCON, has called on the Super Eagles to be ready to match Sudan strength for strength if they are to pick up the maximum points.

“No one wants to get injured in this kind of tournament and when you play against a physical team, you as players tend to be more careful.

“Sometimes, these teams use what they have against bigger teams. The Sudanese team were very physical against Guinea Bissau and if they can do that against them, imagine how they will play against Nigeria,” he added.

  • This guy gets it, the super eagles needs to stretch them there by making them more weaker or wear them down . Because Sudan tends to play defensively because they are quite muscular

Can you humbly use a more decent i.d? CS this is eye sore to allow anything on this forum. This is disgusting for me just to stumble on this sort of Username and it messes mood.

      • @China, thanks for this. It’s ignorance that’s worrying the guy. No be everyone wey go school is educated.

Friend, as Chima said, your user I.D. is unbecoming.
I’ve read your posts, and you seem to be a nice guy.
You should know that people from all over the world come here to read sports news.
An African American friend of mine saw your I.D. and was horrified. You are offending people deeply with your I.D. It would be much appreciated if you changed it.

And when you change your Id let us know it is you so that we can continue appreciating your views and associating them to the same person we always knew.

Thanks @Chima for raising this up. I know it is without any hard feelings. We are all here for our darling Super Eagles.

I am not sure where you got this username from. The “fvck” word is considered a swear word that is offensive while the “nigger” is a derogatory word used to denigrate black people by racists. Very inappropriate username in my opinion.
