AFCON 2023: We Want To Beat Cote d’Ivoire Again — Musa

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has reiterated the team’s desire to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title.

Jose Peseiro’s side will be up against hosts Cote d’Ivoire for the second time in the competition on Sunday.

The tournament decider is slated for the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan.

The Super Eagles defeated the Elephants 1-0 when the two teams met earlier in the competition.

“It’s going to be a tough game but we want to win,” Musa told a press conference in Abidjan on Saturday.

“We have worked so hard to get to this stage of the competition and can’t afford to go home without the trophy.

“We beat them earlier in the competition and want to repeat that again.

The highly anticipated encounter will kick-off at 9pm Nigeria time.

      The coach of ivory coast is also bragging, even haller was over bragging that they will be at us.

  • I am with you on that. Its like they don’t watch or observe thier surroundings and like history teaches them nothing especially Musa. All the big talkers the boastful ones loose look at DR Congo coach recently bragging and got humbled. Nigerians and Super Eagles players let us do the talking on the pitch time to focus leave the talking and save that energy on winning the trophy

    Please captain Ahmed Must don’t comment before the match, comment after the ; this comment will press your team Super Eagles, so it will grant Ivorian to press us then it can punish us, so I adivce any player , coach crew that they musn’t comment before the final match.
