Olisa Ndah hopes he will get chance to feature in the Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Ndah is back in the Super Eagles after he was snubbed by national team selectors for few years.
The 26-year-old earned his invitation on the back of his impressive displays for South African club, Orlando Pirates.
The centre-back will compete with the likes of captain William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey for a starting berth in the team.
The defender however said what is important is the team’s success.

“It’s a really exciting moment for me, I’m very happy to be here,” Ndah told the Super Eagles media.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity, I’m around a lot of great players, so I’m just happy to be part of the team.
“It’s a big boost for people playing in Africa. It shows the level is improving in Africa also. It’s also an opportunity, you don’t really get this often, so you take every chance as it comes.
“I would love to take my chance, but right now, we are focused on how to get back to winning ways, focused on winning on Saturday.
“It doesn’t matter who is starting, the focus is to win the game on Saturday, and we’ll take it from there.”
The Super Eagles will face the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Saturday.
