Former Nigerian international Ifeanyi Udeze believes the Super Eagles will approach their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with all sense of seriousness.
He made this known after Nigeria was drawn in Group L alongside Madagascar, Tanzania, and Guinea-Bissau.
Eagles Must Avoid A Repeat Of 2026 World Cup Qualifying Drama
Speaking with Brila FM, Udeze advised the team to avoid a repeat of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where Nigeria struggled in the early part of the qualifying series.
“I am not surprised that Tanzania is already bragging; they have every right to do so because they are in our group.”

“I just want the Super Eagles to take the games seriously and not underrate any team in our group. We must play every team with our full strength, and the rest will be history.

Nigeria Open Campaign Against Madagascar In Uyo
The Super Eagles will open their campaign to qualify for the 2027 AFCON at home against Madagascar.
The game will be played on September 23 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
