Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has joined fans and pundits in praising Super Eagles winger Moses Usor, following his sensational solo goal in Nigeria’s 2–1 victory over Madagascar in their opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Coming off the bench as a substitute, the 24-year-old LASK forward picked up the ball and embarked on an incredible solo run, skipping past the defense before firing home the 65th-minute match-winner in Uyo.

It was a dream moment for Usor, earning his very first senior cap and appearance under head coach Eric Chelle to become an instant national team hero.
The hosts had fallen behind in the 16th minute when Madagascar breached the Super Eagles’ offside trap, leaving goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali with no chance.
Nigeria responded just before half-time when fellow debutant George Ilenikhena raced onto a well-weighted pass from Alex Iwobi, calmly finishing to draw the scores level.

Reacting after the final whistle via her official X handle, Oshoala could not hide her admiration for Usor’s brilliance:
