Agent: Osimhen Personally Rejected Napoli Deal; No Premier League Link

Victor Osimhen’s representative, Osita Okolo , says the forward’s decision to reject a move to Serie A club Napoli has to do with his private and professional life, reports Completesports.com.

Okolo also denied reports that Osimhen is waiting on a move to Premier League clubs, Manchester United and Arsenal.

“He (Osimhen) is not waiting for calls from English clubs. The story of the Premier League is a huge lie! It is his personal decision, which concerns his private and professional life,”Okolo told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Today there will be a meeting with his entourage and he will soon make his decision known. ”

The Lille forward has been pursued by Napoli for months now.

Osimhen met boss Genarro Gattuso last week and was even invited to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis’ home on the island of Capri.

The 21-year-old linked up with Lille last summer from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi and has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s top prospects after a stellar debut campaign in Ligue 1.

The former VFL Wolfsburg of Germany striker scoresd 18 goals in just 38 games for Lille in the 2019/20 season, while laying on six assists.

Good decision. Italy is not a good place for African players and the racist abuse many have experienced is a testament to this.

  • Italian defenders are dangerous

Osimeh shouldn’t be in a rush. With time, he’s going to get a great deal soon by God’s grace.

He should not come to Premier League. That is not the right place for him at least for now. Same thing with Chukwueze.

Both of them should be patient. That is my own advice. God bless us all. God bless Nigeria!!!

This Osimhen Agent should stay out of the media for now, till this deal is completed. Every day Osimen this, tomorrow Osimen that is becoming childish. If the guy is,still deciding, let them be silent till a concrete deal has been sealed with any club of his choice.

    • Funny is not even th real agent , then secondly this interview was last month becos last week osimhen traveled to naples

Just how money money is gradually destroying football. Everybody including those that will never allow their children mingle with footballers back in the days, labelling them as never do well; girls, mother’s etc looking at them with disgust, suddenly everyone now getting close and wanting to dictate how matters of football should go, all because of money and never because of passion for the game. Truth is football is gradually being strangled/drained of life because of money, reason Osimene is now been dragged along like lamb whereby the slaughterer is looking for the best slaughter slab. May God help him not to make the kind of mistake that he will live to regret.

  • Whats news carried that he turn down yesterday?
