It was Ajayi’s ninth league appearance for the Baggies albeit he has scored twice for the club.
The versatile player has played every minute of West Brom’s league games following his arrival from Rotherham United this summer.
The Baggies now occupyn to top spot in the table following the impressive win.
They travel away to Leeds United for their next league game on Tuesday.
