  • Hmmm, and yet he wasn’t deemed worthy by Eguavone??? Na Sidon look we dey!

    • Mancunian 2 years ago

I agree with you. It’s still puzzling how he was overlooked in the initial 28 man list. Meanwhile Ndah made the team. J hope Akpoguma comes back to the team in the future.

    • And sooo? We already move from that bro. Let him continue doing good his time will come.

  • Dr Banks 2 years ago

Am sure Ogunefon will say he hasn’t heard much about him and never watched him play. Or he’ll simply respond that Ndah is more accustomed to African soccer…….lol!!!

How any sane coach will snub Akpoguma, Dessers and Bassey for Ndah, Ajayi, Shehu, Olayinka, Onyekuru and Collins still beats my imaginations

    • JimmyBall 2 years ago

@Dr.Banks… The tournament is kicking off already. Let’s just quit all this bickering and support the team. You seem not to like Olayinka at all… It shows you know very little how to do Player assessment. That guy Olayinka if given quality run of games will be the one whose name Nigeria will be singing throughout that tournament bet me!

So now that it is OUR OWN, we should support him despite rejecting an in-form Akpoguma for Ndah; Bassey for Collins, whose whereabout no one knows except OUR OWN and his ogas at the top. Your OUR OWN would have even selected Silas Nwankwo ahead of a red-hot Dressers.Musa is going to start matches at AFCON and u are not complaining again. Things that were abnormal and hated under Rohr are now acceptable and should be supported. And hope u know that i must be Dr Drey clone as long as i do not agree with ur excuses. I’d rather be objective than join the FAIL WITH OUR OWN bandwagon.

That’s the problem with Nigeria. In Nigeria things are hardly done on merit, probably DESSERS, Akpoguma and Bassey does not have highly placed Nigerians who can talk and negotiate with NFF leadership on their behalf.
      Pinick is a disappointment.

Eguavoen is telling us Ndah is better than Akpoguma? Indeed, na siddon look we dey.

      • And your akpoguma start the match from the bench MR. Players give assist and score goals weekly, so what’s the big deal? You guys should just move on and back the team pls.

        • Douglas John Ufuoma 2 years ago

why has your own Ndah not given a single assist at ordinary pirate, but has scored an own goal instead.

    • Chinenye 2 years ago

Your sane failure Rohr ignored them as well. He’s no different from clueless Eguavon as well

      • Mahmud Shuaib 2 years ago

Best response @Chinenye. Lol. I didnt want to say anything, but would be criminal of me not to applaud your apt, inch perfect ala Beckham RESPONSE!

Rohr their tin god ignored DESSERS, AKPOGUMA (even benched him for Turkish based AWAZIEM) DENNIS, BASSEY

If ROHR did well and chose players based on current form and pedigree of league (something he promised when he came on board, what will we be doing with an EGUAVOEN as SE Manager???

Abeg, Afcon has started already, let’s enjoy the tourney.

        Good luck Super Eagles!

  • Four four two 2 years ago

I have watched both of them and I can state now and here without a shred of doubt that Ndah is better . In the next two years if Ndah is fully integrated into the eagles all these haters will start singing a new song .bet me.

    • George Okoh 2 years ago

Shut your mouth. Akpokunam is the best eagle defender. Aguavon our technical director who watched him train severally with the super eagle claimed he has not watched him much. I wonder what league he watched. May be NFL, SA and Cyprus

    • chuks haifa 2 years ago

Story!!! Until then, Let’s be watching

  • Awaziem that is now the man of the people was first a flop back then against South Africa at home and the match against Serbia in pre world cup friendly..Now he’s a rock cos he was given enough chance. Akpoguma, Bassey can equally be good if we give them enough chance. As for me, I really want to see what makes Omeruo, Collins, Ajayi and Ndah better than these two. I pray they get playing time.

  • Abdul 2 years ago

CSN did this on purpose and you guys fell for it. This is definitely not the time to bring on stories on who should be and not be in the team. Our first game is on Tuesday, and the best we can do is to just get behind the team. And critically, i don’t think the absence of Akpoguna should cost us this AFCON title, so what’s the point arguing over his absence.

  • You can’t be too sure about this. Awaziem did relatively well as a centre back for the SE in the last couple of matches under Rohr. But that was in a three man central defence. Doing well in a three man central defence is no guarantee that you will do well in a two man central defence, and that was exactly the structure of the defence when he played against South Africa and Serbia

  • I hope Eguavouen know what he is doing because Ndah has not been invited to the super eagles before Bassey,Akpoguma, has been to the super eagles before while is Eguavouen saying he hadn’t watched this guys played i wonder what he is trying to say cus this is tournament he needs good substitute i hope nothing will back fire.
