Super Eagles and Chievo Verona midfielder Joel Obi is been linked with a loan move to Turkish topflight division side Alanyaspor reports Completesports.com.
The 27-year-old who currently plays for the Italian side, Chievo Verona has made 11 appearances from the 19 games played so far and scored once in the Serie A this season for the Donkeys.
The Nigerian international featured for Inter Milan, Parma and Torino.
According to a report on Turkish media outlet Fanatik.com.tr Obi is currently in talks with Alanyaspor with a deal expected to be agreed before the end of the winter transfer window.
Obi has made 117 Serie A appearances scoring eight goals. He also made eight appearances in the UEFA Champions League and six in the Europa League for Inter Milan.
He made his debut for Nigeria in 2011 against Sierra Leone in Lagos and has featured 11 times for the three-time African champions.
Obi was also part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia but was an unused substitute at the tournament.
