Alexander-Arnold Injury Rocks Reds

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to be out for around a month after suffering a knee injury. The right-back is the latest Reds defender to be struck down with injury and widespread reports say he is set to be on the sidelines for four weeks in what is a blow to boss Jurgen Klopp at a vital stage of the season.
Alexander-Arnold suffered an ankle injury in the warm-up before Saturday’s win at Brighton but he’s believed to have picked a knee injury during the game, which is set to rule him out of upcoming matches against Crystal Palace (January 19), Leicester (January 30), West Ham (February 4), Bournemouth (February 9) and possibly the first leg of the last-16 Champions League game against Bayern Munich on February 19.
The England international’s injury adds to Klopp’s problems at the back as Joel Matip is only returning to full fitness and Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren are already on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Georginio Wijnaldum is also carrying a knee injury and could be ruled out of Saturday’s home clash with Crystal Palace.
