Almeria Demand £35m For Sadiq

Almeria are demanding £35m to sell Nigeria forward Umar Sadiq to potential suitors, reports Completesports.com.

Premier League club Newcastle United are reportedly keen to sign the forward in the winter transfer window.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Almeria are demanding £35m for the player more than Newcastle United were hoping to pay.

The Magpies value Sadiq at £15m and it is uncertain if both clubs will reach a common ground on the transfer.

The 24-year-old has scored seven goals in 16 league appearances for Almeria this season.

He linked up with Almeria from Serbian outfit Partizan Belgrade last summer.

35 millons pounds is too much the club show reduce his price target to make sadiq affordable if not it will be same story like Onuachu

  • You see this is it Nigerians I have now seen that most of us don’t understand football has levels and please @dominic don’t devalue our players if Grealish was worth 100mil at the time and a lot of Onyibo people didnt talk like 5this why must you have this mentality this is why you all won’t understand the frustration we have with the calibre of players missing is because you feel everybody is on a similar level as long as nigeria is playing which ever footballer is called upon should do the job. If so every nigerian who went to England or Spain or Germany would have cut it and become stars. let me not talk too much @ dominic not everybody is the same value some are way more expensive and 35 mil is a quite fair if you ask me.

My brother, Grealish was not playing in 2nd division when Man City bought him. He has been a star player in a decent top 10 club in EPL and an established National team player. So when you make comparison, make sure you do like for like comparison next time

A division 2 player can only be worth nothing more than 20 Million pounds in the real sense, tell me how many team in the world can afford 35 Million for a striker that has never proven himself in the 1st division of any top 8 league? Even reports now have it that the actual value of Osimhen’s sale to Napoli is estimated as 36 Million pounds and not what we were meant to believe.
