Former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi says Wilfred Ndidi’s level as a footballer is above current club Leicester City and has urged him to move to a bigger side.
Amokachi said this during his radio programme “Bull’s Pit” on Brila FM.
Ndidi has been one of the standout players for the Foxes prior to the suspension of football in England following the coronavirus outbreak.

His impressive performances has seen him being linked with top European clubs.
And commenting on the possibility of Ndidi joining one of Europe’s top side’s, the 1994 AFCON winner said he should make the move as he is one of the best in his position.
“When you want to make a move you put a lot of things into consideration. He would love to go to a place where he would play a lot of football,” Amokachi said.
“If he goes to Paris Saint-Germain if the deal scales through, I think he’s going to where he’s going to be surrounded by superstars. And when you are surrounded by superstars your game improves more.
“For me it is a good move, what I always pray and wish for him is to sign for a big club not Leicester, his football has passed Leicester, I have been preaching this for the past few years.
“PSG is a household name and the money that they’ve spent, their dream is to win the Champions League. Winning the league is no problem because they’ve been winning it and to go to a team that has the ambition to win the Champions League, it will be good.
“So if he can leave Leicester and go to a team like PSG, why not? And if he can go to other big teams, he deserves it because with the quality he has, he is one of the top five best number four in the world today.”
