Sporting CP president Frederico Varandas has told Chelsea that he won’t allow manager Ruben Amorim to leave the club for any amount.
This comes following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino as manager of the Blues on Tuesday night.
Amorim, who led Sporting Lisbon to win the Portuguese Primeira Liga, has also qualified the team for the final of the Taca de Portugal against Porto on Sunday.
However, Varandas in a chat with TribalFootball, has warned Chelsea owners that Amorim has no intention of leaving the club.

“Today, we have one of the best coaches in the world,” Varandas said.
“We have him today; we had him four years ago, and we have him next year.
“It is not because of the financial aspect or the lack of interest from other clubs that he remains here, year after year. He stays here because Sporting is a club that gives you protection, stability, the conditions to be successful, and above all, the conditions t be happy.”
