Joe Aribo says he is not fussed about his playing position at Rangers and is committed to doing his best for the club, reports Completesports.com.
Aribo has been deployed in different positions by manager Steven Gerrard this season and the midfielder has no qualms with his manager’s decision.
🎙️ “I’m not really fussed about playing either midfield or attack, I just want to be involved,” Aribo declared during his interaction with the media on Tuesday morning.
“It depends on the opposition, sometimes I prefer starting from deep, other games I like to start further up the pitch.”
Rangers will be up against St Mirren in a League Cup quarter-final clash at the SMISA Stadium on Wednesday.
The Nigeria international is expecting a tough test against Jim Goodwin’s men.
🎙️”St Mirren are certainly in a good place of late, they are organised and have pace and counter-attack in the side. They have a plan and a way of playing,”stated Aribo.
“Both teams are in good form heading into this and it is all set up to be a good test.”
