Aribo Wins Scottish League December Goal of The Month Award

Super Eagles and Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo has won the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) December Goal Of The Month award, Completesports.com reports.

The SPFL made the announcement with a Tweet and published a short video clip of the goal on their verified Twitter handle on Friday.

Aribo’s goal in a 3-0 away win against Hibernian saw him finish top, in the final three-man shortlist after amassing 49 per cent of the votes cast.

He doubled Rangers’ lead in the eight minute as he finished off a flowing move with a left-foot strike.

It was the 23-year-old’s second goal of the season after 17 league games for Rangers.
