Substitute Bruno Guimaraes finished off a brilliant team move in the 70th minute to provisionally draw Arsenal level with leaders Manchester City at the top of the table.
Ahead of the match, Arteta opted for a revised starting line-up consisting of a heavy English presence.
Arsenal boasted six English outfield players in a starting XI for a Premier League game for the first time since a match against Manchester United in February 1999, as reported by talkSPORT.

Ben White, Ezri Konsa, and Myles Lewis-Skelly lined-up from the start against a Leeds side unbeaten in the league prior to kickoff.

Arsenal’s previous line-up consisting of six Englishmen included Lee Dixon, Nigel Winterburn, Steve Bould, Tony Adams, Ray Parlour and Stephen Hughes.
Saturday’s victory was the perfect response to the 3-0 defeat at Brighton prior to the international break.
The Gunners have had three weeks to stew over the thrashing at the Amex Stadium and it appeared as though Leeds were next in line to upset the reigning champions.
