Arsenal manager Unai Emery has reportedly identified Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi as a top summer target. France international Nzonzi joined Roma last summer from Sevilla in a deal worth around 30million euros and has been an integral part of the first-team, making 20 Serie A appearances and scoring one goal.
The 30-year-old is said to have caught the eye of several top European teams, with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham ready to do battle for his signature.

Arsenal boss Emery is eager to strengthen his midfield and is hoping the club can manufacture a move for Nzonzi, who worked under the Spanish tactician when the duo were at Sevilla.
The Frenchman has previous experience of England’s top flight, having played for Blackburn Rovers from 2009-2012 and Stoke City from 2012-2015, and there are rumours he would like to return to the Premier League.
