Super Eagles duo Taiwo Awoniyi and Frank Onyeka will look to help Coventry City make a positive start to life back in the Premier League when they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.
The encounter will mark Coventry City’s first top-flight appearance since the 2000/01 season following their promotion from the Sky Bet Championship last term.
Onyeka played a key role in Frank Lampard’s side securing promotion to the Premier League.
The defensive midfielder joined the Sky Blues on loan from Brentford in January and quickly established himself as an important member of the squad.

The 28-year-old registered one goal in 14 league appearances for Coventry during the second half of the campaign.
His compatriot Awoniyi, meanwhile, completed a move to Coventry City from Nottingham Forest earlier this week.
The former Union Berlin star ended his four-year association with Forest after making the switch to the CBS Arena.
Awoniyi brings valuable Premier League experience to Lampard’s squad and will be hoping to play a prominent role in Coventry’s battle to retain their top-flight status.
The 29-year-old struggled for regular playing time at Nottingham Forest over the last two seasons and will be determined to revive his career with the Sky Blues.
