  • This will almost look like a similar move to that of VO7 But it is not.
victor was playing in a lower league at an average team but samu is currently playing in one of the best leagues in the world if not the best and also at a team like Villareal which is also doing very well in spain.
for me,i will say Athletico is a step up but the it is too little to take.
both teams may be in the UCL Next season.
I will advice him to look else where but it will obviously be a LITTLE step up for him.
GUD LUCK AHEAD OF BARCA MACTH SAMU

Can’t understand why you want him to look elsewhere.Athletico Madrid is an improvement compare to his present club.Beside Spanish league is the best in the world so i can’t understand the panic.

If you are worried about game time,i will assure you if he improves on his talent and remain disciplined the sky would be his limit, and definitely he will get to feature regularly.

Athletico is not paying all that money for a fringe player. In my opinion Athletico Madrid is good for Chukwueze.

    • You are right, athletico is superior to Villarreal only because they gat more money, talk of good football, Villarreal beat them hands down, if Samu go to athletico, he will surely feature because he is far better than lemar, but I will prefer Barca or Madrid as I see him in same stand with vinicius, he need choose wise or remain in Villarreal.

samu make sure u re not going there to have more role on the bench if not delet it bcos it wil do you more harm than good jay jay during his time coming up as a young has never bein a bench man the quaities that he jay jay has is pronounced u boost the same quality d only differenc is that jay jay has an enormous talent u re a young lad coming wth so much on ur shouder but u need to be calm nd hope for the right club to come ur deveopment is stil ongoing u re nt there yet

I just wish Samuel can sign for club like AJAX, DORTMUND. This club believes in Young talents like him and will aid his development. He will definitely feature at Atletico but Diego simeone loves playing Defensive game most times which will hamper his development as a Wide forward

  • Ajax and Dortmund playing style will definitely suit Samuel very well, even City and Barca if they can give him playing time

  • Remembering the way he scored against south Africa from fast break play…and the way atletico do score most of there goals.. Chuckwueze can fit in. They’ve had Torres, Aguero, Griezmann now joao Felix. I’m sure he’ll be useful for their counter attacking styles …my take.

Leaving the best league in the world to a league rated no 8 is not a good thing at all.
Ajax is 10 steps backwards in Samu’s career right now.
Atletico is a leap, I think he should take the challenge. He has the talent

  • Don’t know why people focus on the status of the club and turn a blind eye to the current coach. Like @Chairmanfemi said, Simeone has a negative football philosophy. Play defensive and employ every dirty tactic to win. Typical Argentine style. This is in sharp contrast to Chukwueze’s style and could stunt his development.

How many of you enjoy Athletico gra-gra play? Suits well with stiff & aggressive players like Diego Costa, not those with flair that like to express themselves. Even the Ghana boy there, Thomas Partey is never-smiling and always in a fighting mood.

I’m dying of lafta at the “Partey never smiling comment”.  Of all the top teams in club football, Simeone’s athletico are the only ones whose primary aim is to stop the other team from playing.  The style cannot be argued with as it has churned out great results over nearly a decade but I too am of the opinion that at this stage in Samu’s career, he needs to play for a coach that believes in free flowing football.  This will aid his development as thats his natural game.

Simeone’s style wears down both his opponents and his players.  Villareal right now is perfect but I won’t mind him going to dortmund to replace hakimi or to the premier league with a Klopp or any coach that will allow him to play.  He’s a top young talent

  • Mean while
Simy Nwankwo has wraped up his word class dispay for Crotone with a hart-trick.
his team is likely to be in SERIE A Next season all thanks to him.i have been following the lad and i think at the age of 28 he have shown some level of consistency over the season.
and he should be considered by Rhor if his team gains promotion to the italian top fligt league.
    my take though.

    • Even if his team doesn’t make the climb up, another seria A team will go for him!! He is been consistent
