Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that Sylvinho has agreed a deal to replace Bruno Genesio as head coach this summer.
The 45-year-old Brazilian will take his first managerial appointment at the Ligue 1 outfit having spent time as assistant manager with the Brazil national team, Inter Milan and Corinthians.

The former Arsenal, Manchester City and Barcelona player was selected by ex-Lyon and Brazil player Juninho who is returning to the club as sporting director.
Speaking after the 4-1 Ligue 1 win against Caen, which secured third place and Champions League qualification, Aulas told Canal Plus: “Juninho will arrive quickly. He chose the coach. I met with Sylvinho…he agreed.”
