Taiwo Awoniyi is thrilled to secure a permanent transfer to Bundesliga club Union Berlin, reports Completesports .com.
The Nigeria international linked up with Union Berlin from Liverpool on Tuesday ending his six year association with the Reds.
Awoniyi joined Liverpool back in the summer of 2015 and spent the majority of his six years with the Reds out on loan at a variety of European clubs.
He had loan spells with FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Excel Mouscron (twice), KAA Gent, FSV Mainz 05 and most recently with Union Berlin last term.
The striker scored five goals and provided four assists in 22 appearances for Union Berlin last season.
“After lots of loan moves in previous years, I want to finally come and have a home,” Awoniyi told the club’s official website.
“I owe so much to Union, so it makes me happy and proud to be back here. It’s fantastic to continue on the great path with the club. I’ll give everything to quickly pick up where I was before my injury.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
