Millwall winger Femi Azeez has revealed that his biggest ambition is to win the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria, Completesports.com reports.
The 24-year-old also hopes to represent the three-time African champions at the FIFA World Cup in the future.
The former Reading player is equally determined to contribute more goals and assists for the Super Eagles.
“I want to score more goals, and have assists too. I would like to create more chances for the team. I want to play at the AFCON, and win the competition. It will also be great to play at the World Cup with Nigeria as well,” Azeez told reporters after his debut appearance against Zimbabwe.
Dream Debut For Azeez
Azeez enjoyed a dream debut for the Super Eagles, scoring twice in their Unity Cup semi-final clash against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.

The talented winger swiftly put Nigeria in the lead after only five minutes, when he finished off a great team move with a left-footed rocket that goalkeeper Future Sibanda could not stop.
Azeez netted his and Nigeria’s second of the night in the 62nd minute after beating Sibanda in the box following another swift team move, with Otele finding Terem Moffi who then located him in the vital area.
Éric Chelle’s Demand Improvement
Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle congratulated Azeez on his goal-scoring debut, but at the same faulted some of the things that Azeez failed to do.
“He scored two goals, I congratulate him, but he lost a lot of balls, so not happy with him even though he recovered some of these balls,” Chelle said after the game against Zimbabwe.
“I also asked them to do the high pressing for the whole 90 minutes.”

Lol..Baba dey calm down o…
Make your blood no dey hot..
I like your ambition tho…
But you gat a long way and a lot to improve on just like the coach pointed out…
Unity cup no be african cup of nations o or world cup wey una go go for water break like 7 times….lol
And during all those water break una use am receive more instructions from the coach like babies….lol
Even when a player was down almost all of you left the pitch to go and drink water….
Afcon and wc are more serious tournament….
One needs to stay focus all time…
There are very little stipulated time for all those things…
Before you know ref don blow whistle…
So you begin to run back to your position, before you settle down e no concern ref…..
There are very strict rules governing it…
Once you don enter pitch na oyo o..
Na till half time o…or maybe when a player is injured one or two players can just cool off themselves or when there is official cooling break ..
All you hear are instructions being barked at you from the touchline while you are running on the pitch…
If you like you hear….
So in essence I am not saying fifa or ref will not allow water break in more serious tournament….
They will….
But not in the unorganized way and manner like in the unity cup…..
Assuming all things are equal for Azeez and Nigeria. Age wise, he will be:
2027 nations cup (26 years old)
2028 nations cup (27 years old)
Next nations cup is in 2032 after 4 years cycle had begun (31 years old)
Roughly, he has maybe 2 nations cup to dream big.
Even the nations cup now no go too many again.
When it was every 2 years, Nigeria could only win 3 nations cup.
Now it’s gonna turn every 4 years soon, the journey go hard oh
And oh, 2030 world cup is there for him unless Gusau is returned by more greedy and very useless football stakeholders this September.
That is his dream
Wish and will
Dreams comes true
Let my guy wish what he want and God will bless it
