Balogun Scores As USA Record 3rd Consecutive Win Against Ghana After 4-0 Bashing

Four goals in the first half saw the United States of America thrash Ghana’s Black Stars 4-0 in Tuesday’s friendly game in Tennessee.

A brace from Giovanni Reyna and a goal each from former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun and erstwhile Chelsea star Christian Pulisic secured USA their biggest ever win against Ghana.

The result means USA have now won their last three games against the four-time African champions.

Prior to the game against USA on Tuesday, the Black Stars had lost 2-0 to Mexico in another friendly fixture on Sunday.

Ten minutes into the game Reyna opened the scoring for the US before Pulisic doubled the lead on 19 minutes from the penalty spot.

Balogun then made it 3-0 on 22 minutes while Reyna got his brace and the home team’s fourth goal in the 39th minute.

Ghana will be back in action for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a home game against Madagascar in November.

Meanwhile, Ghana are drawn with Mozambique, Egypt and Cape Verde at next year’s AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.

    Ghana gotten ass whooped!!Hahaha…

  • Hahahaha. The loud, stinking mouth Yaw has suddenly gone deaf and dumb. Interestingly, all 4 goals were scored in the first half and it could easily have been 8-0. I just watched the highlight and I thought it was a total mismatch. Total domination with waves and waves of US attacks, and fortuitous saves by the Ghana goalkeeper. They shouldn’t have picked the US for their friendly at all. It was a mistake by their FA. Certainly not in the same category.

And I need to put this out, Ghana should please stop wearing this eyesore of a jersey. I’ve never seen an uglier jersey in my life. Yellow on blood red and then a square drawn like with a child’s crayon and zigzag in the middle. Who “designed” this? And they proudly wear it game after game? Who puts a color-riot square in the centre of a jersy? What a weird, lazy concept!

Ghana shall rise again! Unlike Nigeria, they are a calm, clever and patriotic nation. Their problem is a small talent pool.

Why all these insults on our Ghanaian brothers? just because of a soccer game?, we should show some maturity and respect.
