Die Werkself however want the forward to sign an extension that will keep him at the club until 2029, according to German publication, BILD.
Boniface reportedly have a strong relationship with manager Xabi Alonso which is another factor that could see him remain at the BayArena.
The forward arrived Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gillloise last summer.
He has scored 20 goals in 33 league appearances for the club.
