Bayern Munich are leading the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita, after just a single season at Anfield. Keita joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer, although the deal – worth over £50 million – had been agreed almost a year before.

However, he has struggled to establish himself at Anfield this season, due to a combination of injuries and lack of form, along with the performances of those around him, such as Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner. Keita has featured 21 times in the Premier League but only started 12 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
Now, it is thought that Liverpool would be prepared to let him leave the club after not making an impact this season, and are reportedly willing to take a £10million loss. Bayern Munich are thought to be very interested in the Guinea international as they attempt to rebuild their ageing squad. However, Borussia Dortmund are also thought to be considering a move for the former Leipzig man, who has another four years left on his Liverpool contract.
