“When they scored their goal at the end of the first half, they had more belief that they could get a result.

“The sending off was a mistake, obviously. He’s [Kean] a young player and has to learn from that.

“But the reaction of the team was very good.

“I like to see Tom Davies work so hard with a little problem in his quadriceps, I like to see Alex Iwobi limping but still trying to help the team, and I like the second goal and the way we finished.

“The character, the determination, the commitment of the players was great and I think that’s what the fans are expecting from this team.”

Benitez, Ancelloti, Titi, Ferguson, Rohr, Wenger, Unai Emery, etc as against druggies as Ball, Bent etc who are betting the better part of their life away; who should we listen to? Rather pick my tooth, cross-leg on a sofa than bother about comments coming from the likes of Ball n Bent. They don’t belong to the cream. They are wickedly only trying to destroy his confidence as well as people’s confidence in him, which admittedly is weighed him down a bit. But Iwobi is a fighter and will surely come out victorious. He just has to believe; ignore such negative comments and work on his stamina like Jimmyball pointed out and also set his mind of scoring always, not on just passing the ball.

  • Praise him today and bench him tomorrow, instead of you guys to play him in his prefer position, not all players are flexible to adapt to several position, place him in tha NO 10 and watch him in two matches.
