Juventus’ Federico Bernardeschi has praised the impact Cristiano Ronaldo has had on the squad this season.
The Portuguese joined from Real Madrid last summer and while European glory has continued to elude the Bianconeri, crashing out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League to Ajax, Massimiliano Allegri’s side still managed to claim an eighth straight Scudetto.
Bernardeschi joined Juve in the summer of 2017 and after a tough first season in Turin, has played a more regular role this time around.
The 25-year-old has clearly benefitted from having CR7 around and admits he is not the only one to have been inspired by his team-mate.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Cristiano gave something more to anyone who came into contact with him: a champion in a locker room also brings his story and what he won. “Even just by seeing him train, you learn things to put in your luggage.
In a training match because together it is easier: on the other hand, as an adversary, you challenge yourself.”
