Former bowler Ian Bishop was delighted to see the Windies pick up a series win against England and now wants them to continue to improve. Bishop says the current crop of Windies players have great potential after seeing them overcome England 2-1 in the Test series and feels they have enough quality to move up the rankings.
Bishop says they need a quality spinner and some more consistency with the bat to move up the rankings.

The Trinidadian told Reuters: “From speaking with one or two of the people involved with the team, they are very aware of certain areas of the game that need to be rectified.”
Despite their limitations, Bishop insists that under the leadership of Jason Holder they can start to move up the ICC rankings.
He added: “No team can go from number eight to number one or two in a year or two, but that is certainly the route that they should aim to travel.”
