The pacy striker has scored against Ligue 1 big clubs; Paris Saint-Germain (one goal), Monaco ( three goals) and Olympic Marseille (two goals) in the current campaign.

According to footmercato, Dortmund have listed the Lorient star as one of the potential replacements for Norway striker Erling Haaland, who is a subject of interest from top clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Moffi only linked up with Lorient from Belgian outfit Kortrijk last summer.

He was a revelation in the Lithuanian League in 2019 where he scored 20 goals in 29 outings for Riteriai.

  • This is great i hope it’s materialised, l love the lad cos he is never afraid of opposition. Keep it up man, all our forward are delivery in all cylinder. Giving our coach headaches for selection.

This guy is the striker most adaptable to the Eagles’ current style of play. He has the mobility, movement, speed and pressing ability to effectively play in the side. He’s the only genuine competition for Victor Osimhen, and will surely move to a bigger club at season’s end.

Rohr will have to decide what he wants in a substitute striker. If he wants a striker with different characteristics to complement the squad in terms of height, box presence, poaching instincts – he’ll have to choose between Paul, Simmy and Sadiq; if he wants a direct sub for the very same qualities Victor brings to the team, then it’s Moffi without a doubt.

I can’t agree less with you. I see this lad as a complete striker, he’s very agile, he’s strong like lukaku, good positioning like Haaland and fit into any team play. I believe we can take four strikers to any competition which are Osihmen, Sodiq, Onuachu and Moffi, while Inheanacho will be selected as attacking midfielders along with Iwobi and olise.

I am a fan of yours already with that mention of 4 quality centre forward… It’s a very good idea if we are hoping to play something like 4-3-3 or 3-4-3… Let’s hope for better days. If Moffi can replicate what he has done for another season… then he is a key Eagle already… We must measure these young strikers against consistency. It is the way for them to push their abilities to full potential.

I don’t think we can take 5 strikers to the world cup, which is what you’re suggesting if you exclude Kelechi from the list of strikers. The team will be unbalanced if there is an injury or two in midfield. ‘Cause ten slots are already gone with 3 keepers and at least 7 defenders.

The alternative is to drop the 3rd choice keeper so you have space for another striker.

@Jimmy you are right, we need to give them time in order to push their abilities to full potential. @Sammy I really don’t think taking 4 strikers to competition can affect other department, take for instance, Argentina took 4 inform strikers to 2010 world cup Aguero, Trevez, Milito and Higuain, so I believe we can emulate the idea, if they are still inform by then.

This would be very difficult for rohn.. All these players are good. Saqid scored few hrs ago and is also a good striker.. Moffi as the previous writer say is similar to oshimen and that’s very true.. In all, all these strikers are good.. Selection should be based on current form and level of fitness

  • like seriously the guy is on form this season I can’t wait to see him on super eagles jersey

We have our top strikers at red-hot this season.

From Paul to Simy, Oshimen, Sodiq, Nacho and now Moffi..

And all six can’t be invited..

  • Not surprised. The lad is developing very fast. Showing great composure in front of goal and strong running against opponent defences. Hope his team survives relegation. He should be playing in a top division and team not some lower division.
