Manchester United and Chelsea have qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League while Bournemouth and Watford have been relegated, after a dramatic final day in the 2019/2020 Premier League campaign.
Chelsea, United and Leicester were separated by just one point heading into Sunday but wins for the Red Devils and the Blues against the Foxes and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively, secured a place into Europe’s elite club competition.
United opened the scoring on 70 minutes through Bruno Fernandes from the penalty spot.
Former United defender Jonny Evans was sent off in injury time for a foul on Scott McTominay before Jesse Lingard later adding the second goal on 98 minutes to secure a 2-0 win at King Power stadium.

Former Nigeria international Odion who did not score a single goal in the course of the Premier League this season, was brought on late in the game.
For Leicester, Wilfred Ndidi played for 90 minutes while Kelechi Iheanacho was removed on 58 minutes for Ayoze Perez.
At the bottom of the table, Watford and Bournemouth suffered relegation to join Norwich City, which was already down.
Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw at West Ham meant they finished on 35 points, one more than Watford and Bournemouth.
Watford fell 3-2 at Arsenal despite an impressive fightback from 3-0 down while Bournemouth’s 3-1 win at Everton wasn’t enough to see the Cherries stay in the division.
Elsewhere champion Liverpool didn’t start its potent front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino at Newcastle but rallied for a 3-1 win to finish on 99 points, one more than Manchester City’s tally from last season.

Rogers killed Leicester by taking out Iheanacho who was the only bright spot in the attack. No words but with what I’ve seen Kelechi must move to a team where he will get game time to prove himself, else he will be fighting for confidence all his life at Leicester city.
I watched the match too i dont see anyreason why iheanacho was taken out by that man, the guy(rogers) is a problem to the young lad! He will never give him the confidents and relaxation the player needs to perform. Iheanach is playing with the tought of him been the nest substitute. The guy was playing one of is best games when rogers foolishly removed him even when they wherent loosing. I expected him to add grey to iheanacho as the game they hot and they needed a win.
Vardy who is 33 doesn’t always get to come off instead it is iheanacho that is always playing well most times that do come off. His changes are always predictable and so the opponent always knew what to expect from him in a game. I must say Rodgers had a big part to play in their missed chance of not qualifying for champions league but His ego won’t let him admit it
Sometimes that’s what pressure brings, the threat from Manchester United was too much as they dominated the game causing panic at Leicester’s defense, the coach had to do something about it because if not they must surely concides , though I’m expecting him to change the formation and while doing so Kelechi must be affected because he is not a true number 9 .
Through out his time on the pitch, he plays more like a 10 , picking the ball from the middle to the attack.
