Joshua got the JAB done. They say a moving target is always harder to hit. Joshua fought intelligently. He kept moving around, used his longer reach to land jabs, and would fall back when Ruiz charged. Jab, retreat, jab, retreat. Ruiz actually has the faster hands, and if they engage, he would likely land more punches. But with Joshua intelligently refusing to engage, Ruiz was frustrated. That big belly did not help Ruiz today. Word of advice, muchacho – minimize consumption of the burritos and the queso!
