Brighton are in advanced negotiations to sign AIK winger Zadok Yohanna, Completesports.com reports.
AIK have publicly confirmed they are in talks with an unnamed club over the sale of the highly-rated 18-year-old, with the Swedish side hoping to secure a fee in the region of £20 million.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton are the club involved and have emerged as the frontrunners for Yohanna’s signature.
There is growing optimism that an agreement could be reached this week.
Mass Scramble For Zadok
Yohanna has attracted significant interest from several Premier League clubs, as well as teams in Germany and Spain.
However, Brighton’s reputation for identifying and developing young talent has strengthened their position in the race.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg’s Patrick Wimmer remains among the alternative winger targets being considered by Brighton, although the Austrian international is believed to be closing in on a move to Hoffenheim.
Youngster’s Remarkable Rise
Yohanna was signed by AIK in June 2025, agreeing to a contract that runs until 31 December 2029.
The winger started his spell at AIK playing for the club’s U-19 side, where he scored four goals in three matches in the P19 Allsvenskan.
He was later integrated into first-team training on a regular basis.
Yohanna made his debut for the club in August 2025, coming on as a substitute in the 89th minute against IFK Göteborg at Gamla Ullevi in a match that AIK lost 2–1.
He has scored two goals, and registered three assists in seven league appearances for AIK this season.
