Bundesliga Round 20 Preview: RB Leipzig Head To Struggling Hannover 96

Meanwhile, champions Bayern Munich are at Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund head to Eintracht Frankfurt

The 20th round of action in Germany’s Bundesliga kicks off this coming Friday night (1 February) when RB Leipzig will be looking for three points away to lowly Hannover 96. The following day, the two favourites for the league title are in action and both ply on the road: defending league champions Bayern Munich are away to Bayer Leverkusen, while current table toppers Borussia Dortmund head to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Where should I be investing my money?

First up, the Friday night clash between Hannover 96 and RB Leipzig. Hannover sit next to bottom in the table with just two wins to their name all season – they are currently on an eight-game winless run and are priced at just 1.36 to suffer relegation come the end of the season.

RB Leipzig, in stark contrast, are sitting in fourth, and will be looking to make up ground on the sides above them. They come into this match on the back of a 4-0 win away to Fortuna Dusseldorf last time out, and they come in at just 1.53 to finish the season in the top four.

Regarding this match, it is little surprise to see that it is RB Leipzig who come in as the clear favourites to take the points. You can back the visitors to win at just 1.53 while Hannover, despite home advantage, are out at 6.00 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 4.00, according to Oddsshark.

This should be a fairly comfortable evening for RB Leipzig. A 2-0 win for the away side comes in at 8.50, meaning that a US$5 bet would lead to a US$42.50 pay out, while you can more than double your money by backing under 2.5 goals in the game at 2.30.

Bayern out to continue winning streak on the road

The following day, defending league champions Bayern Munich will look to continue their recent run of league victories away to Bayer Leverkusen. The home side currently sit ninth in the table but could jump as high as sixth with a win here, depending how other results go.

Bayern, meanwhile, have found their rhythm after a slow start to the season. The champions have won their last seven outings in a row, sit second in the table and are priced at just 1.90 to retain their domestic crown.

It will therefore come as little shock to see that Bayern are the red hot favourites to take the points on Saturday afternoon. You can back the champions to make it eight wins on the bounce at just 1.45, while Leverkusen are out at 6.25 to do the same – a draw is priced in the middle at 4.75.

And we are expecting the champions to continue their streak. A comfortable, 3-1 win for Bayern is priced competitively at 11.00, thereby offering more than a ten-fold return on any investment, while you can more than double your money by backing a combo bet of a Bayern Munich win, coupled with both teams to score, at 2.50.

Dortmund look for three more points at Eintracht

And finally, current league leaders Borussia Dortmund will be out for another three points when they head to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday. Eintracht are unbeaten in their last four league outings and sit fifth in the table – they are priced at 4.50 to finish in the top four come the end of the season.

Dortmund, meanwhile, are sitting top of the pile having won their last three league games on the bounce. They are six points clear of Bayern Munich in second place and come in at the same price as their rivals to win the title – 1.90.

And while the betting is close here, it is Dortmund who come in as the slight favourites to snatch the points. You can more than double your money by backing the table toppers to make it four league wins in a row at 2.10, while Eintracht are slightly higher at 3.20 – a draw would appear to be the least likely outcome and is priced accordingly at 3.60.

And we are expecting the visitors to just about grab the win they need. A narrow, 1-0 win for Dortmund comes in at 10.00, while you can more than double your money by backing under 2.5 goals in the game at 2.37.
