Edo Queens departed the country on Thursday morning ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, Completesports.com reports.
The players and their officials travelled to Casablanca from the Murtala Muhammed International, Airport, Lagos.
Moses Aduku’s side are drawn in Group B with holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Egypt’s FC Masar and CBE FC of Ethiopia.
The Nigerian champions will be making their maiden appearance in the competition.
They will face CBE FC in their opening fixture in Casablanca on Sunday, November 10.
The CAF Women’s Champions League will kick-off on Saturday with DR Congo’s TP Mazembe and University of the Western Cape clashing in the opening game.
The competition will run from November 9 to November 23 in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco.
