Very well said @ Eldridge. Enyimba fall my hand badder badly. But like I have always said, our local teams are lacking proper coaching/training. Same thing over n over again; no pattern, players playing without any defined method of attacking or defending. Was just a case of give me, I give you or kick to anywhere belle face. Our local coaches seriously need to look themselves in the mirror n honestly ask themselves if they are truly pulling their weight against first, other coaches in Africa before even talking about the advanced world. Football they are still teaching our local teams is what we played in the street many many years ago. Older generation local coaches like Kadiri Ikana, Willy Bazuwaye, etc were miles ahead our present new generation local coaches. Just so shameful.

There are still some talents among the homebased… most of the Enyimba players lack confidence and grit. However… Iwuala and Noble could hold their head high. It’s never easy playing this sort of club games against North African teams in their backyard o… even the players are used to hassling the referee, intimidating him because CAF allows those attitude. A contestable call against the home team and you will see 6 players surround the referee shouting at him… It’s intimidation tactics. Go back and watch Enyimba versus Ismaily of Egypt played in Egypt in 2003 and see for yourself, 4 Enyimba players received yellow cards in the return leg in Egypt, again the one they won in 2004 finals against Etoile du Sahel… Enyimba played first leg in Tunisia, the match was not even 10 minutes before the referee gave Onyekachi Okonkwo, Enyimba’s keyman a red card ruling him out of the second leg in Nigeria. They are good at intimidation tactics but that aside… Enyimba were horrible yesterday.

So is this why Enyimba was hopelessly helpless last night…?? Where they intimidated by the empty stadium and excellent officiating to the point of almost losing the match by 6-0…??? Were they also intimidated in Sudan where they were thrashed by 3-0 by el-merriekh, in Port Harcourt where they lost 1-0 and also in Orlando where their only shot at goal in a 1-2 loss was a penalty…??? Has Orlando Pirates not gone away from home to pick points in this tournament…??? Wetin concern last night match performance with matches played 20 years ago…..LMAO??? Continue with your rigmarolling….LMAO. You go still tell us story of how El-Mehalla take intimidate Enugu rangers for 1974…..LMAO…..just to make up excuse for a rather pathetic alround performance from the supposed best club in the Nigerian league…..LMAO

Guy grow up… People are tired of your attitude here. I never scored Enyimba good for what they displayed last night…did you see where I said they were robbed? I said the match was more like scuffles and fisticuffs yesterday up till about 28minutes into the first half before the goals were scored… It’s this thuggish attitude that is the reason I exposed your lies about being anything but a PhD holder last time and you are not in truth. Will any untruth come close to that on this forum? We say make we respect each other the comment the go… but you will always hound me. Forumites can attest to your attitude here towards me specifically, and it’s because I exposed your fraud as a PhD wannabe… You and one of your underling here even accused me of being a 419ner and putting up numbers of my accomplices here on CSN for verification. If you don’t know @Proudly 9ja has verified some of my claims up till his backyard in Alberta, Canada and it checked right. I played top level football, atleast professional, you na for viewing centre you the see live statldium… still you no go let me be. Your attitude has given you away since to be at most a middle aged man. You are not even more than 35yrs… it shows in your childish character. Put up your real name make we check you for Facebook if you no be fraud… You dey here the rant and I dey work the put in hours to make solid Euros… bros, go and help yourself, I go make money finish enter house for evening come spend spare time with you for CSN… Yet you no know say na you the pick zero… Hahaha. Get a nail cutter and tend your toe nails if you are so idle parley! Peace to you… Lol.

… actually the red card to Onyekachi Okonkwo was on 31st minute in the first half… Enyimba scored them first in the 15th minute and were outplaying them… then Onyekachi was redcarded on the 31st minute followed by a penalty awarded to Etoile du Sahel by 44th minute…. Win at all cost
    syndrome.

  • They played without any purpose. Anayo tried but there is little he could do. Infact it was a complete disaster….I just wasted my data for nothing.

When Home base team lose we blame it on not too good players and not on other factors like poor tactics, warfare of players and weather conditions, but when SE loose we don’t blame the players nor the coach, but we give valid reasons for them…Double standard.Home base teams do well at home but plays bad on the road, because the league has been built like that so they carry that mentality to the continent.. It was a shambolic tactical set up by coach, also playing on a natural grass played a part yesterday..
