The Blue Sharks of Cape Verde have arrived Lagos ahead of Tuesday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Competesports.com reports.
According to a meassge posted on the Cape Verde Football Federation Intagram page, the players and their officials flew into Lagos on Sunday night.
They will train at the venue of the game, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Monday morning.

The Blue Sharks defeated Central African Republic 2-1 at home on Saturday to set up a tantalizing final day clash with the Super Eagles.
Nigeria top Group C on 12 points, two points more than the Blue Sharks.
The Blue Sharks need a win to advance to the playoff round of the qualifiers.

Could someone tell me when and where is the 3rd round draw for the qualified teams pls.
When— In March
Where— To Be Decided (TBD), only after all ten group winners must have been determined by tomorrow, and most importantly, Draws concluded by February 2022

To answer your question directly, the Draw should hold sometime in February 2022, ceteris paribus.
The venue for the Draw ceremony will be decided by CAF/FIFA in due course

Remember the Draw will be majorly based on the FIFA Rankings.. and the AFCON is still ahead.
I still believe the Third Round Draw will hold after the AFCON is concluded..presumably in February…unless you’ve got concrete proof of your assertion @Dele, you can share the link here

@Richie Buh AFCON has nothing to do with world cup, so is not possible for FIFA to be waiting for AFCON before draw

@Jide….i see……well, my own is, let whoever has concrete proof that this Draw will hold in the coming weeks, come out with it here for all to see, and YES I know the AFCON and the World Cup are two distinct tournaments, but the feelers I’ve been getting have been telling me this Draw would hold AFTER the AFCON has been concluded, all the same, let’s all watch and see
