Liverpool will host Tottenham in the third round of the Carabao Cup, while Manchester United face Brighton as one of a potential six all-Premier League ties, Sky Sports reports.
Spurs travel to Anfield in the competition for the second time in three seasons, having lost 4-1 on aggregate to the Reds in the semi-finals of the tournament in 2024/25.
Elsewhere, Sunderland host promoted Hull, while fellow Premier League new boys Ipswich face Arsenal.
Holders Manchester City will welcome Championship side Norwich to the Etihad, having not lost to the Canaries in five home meetings dating back to 2013.
Coventry will go head-to-head with Aston Villa in an all-Midlands clash, while there is guaranteed to be at least one cross-London tie too with West Ham hosting either Fulham or AFC Wimbledon, who go head-to-head on Thursday.
