Casemiro: Brazil Deserved Better Result Against Super Eagles

Brazil midfielder Casemiro is disappointed the Selecao failed to record a win in their international friendly
against Nigeria at the Singapore National Stadium, Kallang, reports Completesports.com.

The five-time world champions forced the Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw in the game.

Since lifting the Copa America in July, Brazil have also drawn with Colombia and Senegal and lost to Peru

The Super Eagles took the lead after 35 minutes when Joe Aribo found space in a packed penalty box to rifle in a low shot and grab his second goal in two international appearances.

Casemiro equalised for the South Americans three minutes after the break slotting the ball home after Marquinhos header came off the woodwork.

”Speaking about the result, it was nothing favourable. When it comes to Brazil, we always want to win,” Casemiro told TV Globo.

”But looking at our performance, today the answer was very good. The second half was good, against a physically strong team.

”The result is not good, but no doubt the second half was good, yes.”

  • Brazilian should thank God that Kalu and Etebo were not part of SE team today.

The result would have been in favor of Nigeria.

    God bless SE.

Casemiro and his colleagues could not believe their eyes today…Hehehehehe! A young Nigerian squad almost put them to sleep! We too can say Nigeria should have won this match. Yes, Brazil played great, and hit our post several times. But we too could have scored up to 5 goals in this match with better finishing! We matched them toe to toe. Brazilians will not forget this game in a long time. With Senegal and Nigeria, Africa has made a HUGE STATEMENT in world football. The reigning COPA AMERICA champions failed to defeat the current Afcon silver and bronze medallists. Shows that we are not joking around in Africa anymore. The best is yet to come!

  • Signor Casemiro, a question: is soccer played with the feet or mouth? Where were you when we hammered in a goal first? Don’t ever bad-mouth us again ooooh!

    Hehehehe!
Achi, Signor Casemiro es loco en la cabeza!
Vamos arriba Super Eagles of Nigeria!

    • Thank you, Pompei. I wanted to give Oga Casemiro word but my Spanish come get weak
      legs.

Rather than cause disaffection and shoot ourselves in the feet (today is the day of the feet/legs) NFF should do the underground work and send feelers for grade-A matches in the next FIFA opening. How about Portugal? Would they be too hot for us? I’m afraid of that Cristano.

      • @ Achi my brother don’t bother Ur self about any country or any name that want to play against us now because we can beat world best’s combined together,i pray Rorh stay’s for 2 more years at least,so he will finalise the work he started,
