Celta Midfielder Attracting Italian Interest – Agent

Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka is attracting interest from a number of Serie A clubs, according to his agent.

The 24-year-old has been a regular for Celta since joining from Danish side Nordsjaelland on a five-year deal in the summer of 2017.

Lobotka’s stock has risen during his time in Spain and he recently admitted that he would like to play European football.

It appears that he is edging closer to that dream after his agent, Branislav Jasurek, confirmed AC Milan and Napoli are interested.

Jasurek insists his client would continue to give his all for Celta if a deal doesn’t come off but an exit from the Abanca-Balaidos looks the most likely outcome with talks at an “advanced state”.

“Stanislav Lobotka is a great midfielder, who showed to be very strong in Spain. Celta Vigo are a great club and the boy is happy to play in La Liga, even if the market runs its course,”

Jasurek told Calciomercato.com. “In Italy he was followed by many teams, Napoli first, then Milan and Fiorentina, even if at the moment they are behind other teams.

“We are talking to various clubs, some negotiations are in a more advanced state than others. Serie A is highly regarded, we’ll see how the market will evolve.”
